Abstract

The work deals with the reception of Beppe Fenoglio's books published by the author during his short life and the subsequent critical and philological fortune of the works, with a particular focus on the so-called Partigiano Johnny, a novel not completed by Fenoglio (who died in 1963) and published posthumously in 1968.
