Ferdinand De Saussure e gli altri corsi
i quaderni sul verbo indoeuropeo di Charles Bally (bge ms. fr. 5128)
Abstract
Five notebooks, which contain notes of a course on the Indo-European verb given by Ferdinand de Saussure at the University of Geneva, are collected among the unpublished manuscripts of the Fonds Bally at the Library of Geneva (BGe Ms. fr. 5128). The article concerns a preliminary description of the manuscripts, including a suggested dating. Moreover, it aims at underlining the systematicity of Saussure’s investigation and observing that, contrary to other manuscripts, theoretical remarks can not be found scattered among the observations of historical linguistics.
