Abstract

In the present study, a sociolinguistic survey was conducted in the evangelical churches of Northern Italy. The small communities of Baptist, Methodist and  Waldensian churches are deeply involved in transformations caused by the increasing migratory movements and the presence of new foreigner believers. Data
were collected on the attitudes towards the plurilingual practices in the life of churches and it was possible to define different models of linguistic repertoires.
