Abstract

The translation of two authors like Hélène Cixous and Jacques Derrida always involves an exercise of difference, or rather, a practice of deciphering which involves both what is said and what is left unsaid in the writing. In the case of the two writings introduced in the third volume of the philosophical necklace "Lapsus", published by ArtstudioPaparo in November 2016, the translator will have found themself in the condition to practise a double exercise of difference: not only, obviously, because there are authors, but above all because the respective writings deal with the issue of sexual difference as if they are two testimonies of this difference.
