Abstract

In this book, the author examines gender stereotypes that are present in football programs on TV, reflecting on spectacularization of male bodies and the devaluation of female bodies in football that television narration tends to amplify, determining a very significant problem. An improbable representation of gender difference, the reduction of women to sex objects and her debasement as a public image, in football and in television programs dedicated to it, what does this produce in terms of internalization in young people?
