Transmedial analysis of the Social Representation of romantic love

Abstract

This study analyzes, from a gender perspective, thesocialrepresentation ofromanticlovein transmedia traversals, determining the structure of multimodal representations anddiscovering resemiotization criteria. It analyzes the result of the top 30 images ofinternetinspanish,italian andenglish (90 images) using visual grammatic and central core of social representations. Out of the conclusions, it is possible to highlight that romantic loveis an example of transmedia traversal where there are important differences of resemiotization in different linguistic contexts.
