This work investigates the sense of self-harming behaviors, designed as a way to create a kind of track of negative,s trauma and more specifically the action of the mother’s disinvestment and forms of non-mirroring. The dialectic between absence, loss and emptiness allows to understand the vicissitudes of the negative in the dynamic of transference and in thought processes. The clinical exploration of not represented states of the mind used a clinical example that allow us to highlight the technical difficulties and the need of clinician to use a work of psychic figurability “in double” to re-weave the patient’s tears of representative fabric.Downloads
