Abstract

The “Pink pathway” center at the San Paolo Hospital in Naples is a first aid reception programme  for  women  victims  of  violence  and  whose  health  has  been  damaged.  In 2009 a new diagnostic instrument, the psychological report, was introduced within the “Pink Pathway” in Naples along with medical instruments to detect physical injuries : This  is  the  result  of  a  specific  intervention  involving  listening  to  women  victims  of violence  and  visualizing  post-traumatic  psychological  effects  with  accurate  reports  of the experiences of the woman soon after the violent event.
