Abstract

The Binishell, a new method for the construction of domes developed by the architect Dante Bini in the 1960s, finds a fair fields of application with widespread examples both in Italy but above all abroad. The innovative system was adopted in the Seventies by the engineer Guido Guerra for the parish of San Gioacchino in Bacoli, impacting the local building context and contributing to the development of a complex architectural palimpsest.
