Digital Preservation

Pagine Inattuali adheres, through the Centro di Ateneo per le Biblioteche dell’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, to the telematic deposit procedure in Magazzini Digitali, and therefore Archive-It, a system for the permanent preservation of electronic documents published in Italy and disseminated through the computer network set up by the National Libraries of Florence, Rome and Venice Marciana. Each item is assigned a National Bibliography Number (NBN), which is useful for long-term preservation.

Pagine Inattuali is also included in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) network of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP PLN), aimed at ensuring decentralised and distributed preservation, long-term preservation and perpetual access to the original version of the journal.
