Abstract

This essay tries to make a brief rereading of Argentine history through the category of eclecticism. From this perspective, eclecticism has profoundly influenced significant figures in the literature, thought and politics of this country, from Leopoldo Lugones to Octavio Paz, from Borges to Perón.
