This article aims to highlight the Norse influence in the Borgesian stories "The Encounter" and "Juan Muraña". In particular, the analysis focused on the metaphorical use of objects and on their becoming subjects themselves who develop a feeling of complete indifference towards the existence of human beings.Downloads
