The first author to address the topic of feminicides committed between 1993 and 2004 in Ciudad Juárez (especially against women from maquiladoras) was Sergio González Rodríguez with "Bones in the Desert". However, feminicide is also one of the themes that Roberto Bolaño deals with in "2666". This essay attempts to make a critical analysis of the two novels, highlighting substantial points of contact and difference.Downloads
