Value/Values and Objects of Fashion in the Late Middle Ages

To introduce a collection of essays investigating the multiple values of fashion objects between the 13th and 14th centuries, this contribution answers the questions that have been the basis of the collective investigation by proposing some reasoning on the process of value formation and values concerning articles of dress at the end of the Middle Ages.
