Abstract

The work aims to present an outline of the current situation regarding studies on the Middle Ages in Argentina. To this end, reference is made initially to the various academic institutes, public institutions, associations and foundations, in the different areas of the Human Sciences, that give a contribution to the analysis of the Middle Ages; it pays special attention to the activities and publications developed by each of them. After this, the paper connect some of the difficulties for the exercise of research to the academic and geographical position of the country.
