This section offers a corrected version of a little-known text by Arsenio Frugoni and Raoul Manselli on modernism, which was read at the 13th International Congress of historical sciences (Moscow, August 1970). The reissue is introduced by an ample contribution of Paolo Vian. The text of Manselli and Frugoni is edited by Enrico Artifoni and Paolo Vian.
