This paper compares the status of the research which followed the nineth centennial of the death of Pier Damiani (1972) with that accrued at the millennium from his birth (2007), which, besides by a greater accessibility of sources, is characterised by a better contextualisation of the activity of the "Avellanita", whose complex profile has recently been redefinded.Downloads
