Abstract

The purpose of this contribution is the analysis of the Baths of Trebula Balliensis, with a particular focus on the diagnostic artifacts recovered from rooms W-D-E (2009 excavations). The analysed ceramic materials are recorded in the stratigraphic sequence UUSS 4-5, related to the abandonment of the spa-complex. In addition to some late-antique classes, all well documented in the Campania region, the finding of a new kind of lamp with the symbol of the menorah is considered as especially relevant. Furthermore, the present study suggests a different line of interpretation regarding the final stages of the site.
