Amleto ┼ Die Fortinbrasmaschine (2016) is one of the most representative work in the Roberto Latini’s theatrography. The Italian actor and director uses the dramatic structure taken from Heiner Müller’s Die Hamlemaschine to stage some parts inspired by William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Hamlet. The result is a complex spectacle where the whole dramaturgy is based on a plural perspective embodied by a single presence on the stage that can be defined as a projection of Hamlet filtered by the Fortinbras’ sights.
