Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The item has not been previously published, nor offered to another journal.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines.
Focus
The Focus section publishes articles that are directly related to the issue themes.
LUME (Land Use, Mobility and Environment)
LUME section publish original interdisciplinary papers on the interaction of transport, land use and environment. Domains include: engineering, planning, modeling, behavior, economics, geography, regional science, sociology, architecture and design, network science, and complex systems.
Papers reporting innovative methodologies, original data, and new empirical findings are especially encouraged.
Review Notes
this section remarks itself as a service to readers of the magazine to update them on the most important novelty in the interest of the journal. This part of the magazine consists of six sub-sections providing information on the proposed contributions to news, documents or events of major importance and relevance in the government of territorial transformations, mobility and environment.

Authors who publish with TeMA journal agree to the following terms:
1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial License 4.0 that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal (Note: The TeMA Journal Editorial Staff are working to standardise the copyright information in all published papers);
2. Authors can enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal;
3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) before and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
Privacy Statement
The data collected through the journal website, both from registered and non-registered users, are necessary to guarantee the standards required for peer-reviewed journals. These data include contact information in order to carry the editing process forward; they are used to inform readers about the authorship and the editing process of documents’ content; they enable to collect aggregated data on readership behaviours, as well as to track geopolitical and social elements of scholarly communication.
This journal’s editorial team uses these data to guide publishing processes and to enhance journal improvements. Data that will assist in developing this publishing platform may be shared with its developer Public Knowledge Project in an anonymized and aggregated form, with appropriate exceptions such as article metrics. The data will not be sold by this journal or PKP nor it will be used for purposes other than those stated here.
The authors whose manuscript are published in TeMAs journal are responsible for the human subject data that figures in the research reported here.
Those involved in editing this journal seek to be compliant with industry standards for data privacy, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provision for “data subject rights” that include (a) breach notification; (b) right of access; (c) the right to be forgotten; (d) data portability; and (e) privacy by design.
The GDPR also allows for the recognition of “the public interest in the availability of the data,” which has a particular saliency for those involved in maintaining, with the greatest integrity possible, the public record of scholarly publishing.
