MS in Architecture and PhD in Territorial Planning, sheis Full Professor in Urban planning and Research Director (from 2013 to 2018) of the PhD course in Urban Planning at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). She teachesin both thematic courses and Design Studio at the Master and PhD level being the supervisor of several PhD theses. Her research focuses on urban mobility and accessibility, transport justice, and electric transition.
Full professor of Urban Planning at the University of Naples Federico II. Since 1987 she has been involved in studies on the management of urban and territorial transformations. Her research interests focus on the processes of urban requalification, on relationships between urban transformations and mobility, and on the estate exploitation produced by urban transformations. On these subjects she has co-ordinated several research teams. Author of more than 150 publications.
He is the responsible of the “Mapping and Urban Data Lab” (MAUD), Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Politecnico di Milano. His main areas of expertise are methods and techniques of territorial and environmental analysis, geographical information systems, statistical and spatial analysis, mapping and data visualization. In the last years, he specialized in the use of novel data sources (mobile phone and social media data) for urban studies and for mobility mapping.
Engineer, Ph.D. in Civil Systems Engineering at University of Naples Federico II and Lecture in Urban Planning at the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II. His research focuses on land use and transport interaction, urban accessibility and energy governance in urban areas.
