Author Biography

Nicola Pagliara, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Facoltà di Architettura

Nicola Pagliara was born in Rome in 1933. After taking a master’s degree in architecture in 1959, he spent the entire  university career with Prof. Cocchia, first as lecturer,  then as full professor in architectural design in 1972 and finally he held the chair in 1975. A particular interest in the Mitteleuropean architecture, Italian futurism and Russian constructivism led him to make many trips to study abroad and to choose languages close to early avant-garde movements. His works have been published by the leading national and international journals. He Lives and works in Naples
