Abstract

The notion of a port landscape makes the port more recognizable in its form and architecture; enjoyable both as a common good and a place open to the public while integrated with the city and with the life of its inhabitants.

The port landscape, as a park, is reticular system, inter-connected with its own historical-cultural, environmental and social values. It is a measuring rod which orients the urban and territorial transformation of the port metropolis.
