Abstract

The concept of resilient is becoming a buzzy word in many disciplines including regional and spatial economics. The theory is still in developing and some additional conceptual framework are needed. Starting from the definition of resilience the aim of the paper is to highlight some conceptual framework still open concerning economics, spatial and social resilience. Special attention will be dedicated to social resilience.
