About the Journal

The ITALIAN JOURNAL OF ERGONOMICS, Official organ of S.I.E. - Italian Society of Ergonomics and Human Factor, is a scientific journal that operates at national and international level for the promotion and development of ergonomics and the study of human factors, the dissemination and systematisation of knowledge and experiences related to the ergonomic approach, in close relationship with the social, environmental and productive realities where human beings work and live, in coherence with the aims of S. I.E. Supported by an international scientific committee and using a double-blind reviewing process, the journal publishes original contributions resulting from research and applications on ergonomic issues, in its different aspects and referring to different contexts and human activities. The ITALIAN JOURNAL OF ERGONOMICS is aimed at professional ergonomists and all those who are interested in applying the principles and methodologies of ergonomics/human factors in the design, planning and management of technical and social systems, at work or at leisure.
