Il lessico dell’opera teatrale di Francesco Cerlone (Q-Z)

Abstract

The contribution collects the third part of the glossary of the works by the Neapolitan playwright Francesco Cerlone, created through an analysis of the eight volumes published between 1825 and 1829, which contain most of his production. This segment covers the alphabetical range Q–Z and, for convenience, includes the editorial criteria for the glossary, the table of abbreviations for the titles of Cerlone’s comedies, and the list of dictionaries cited in the commentary for the entries. The contribution also presents some general observations that can be made based on the results of the lexical analysis.
