Abstract

The fifth issue of the new series of the journal presents the first part of the contributions delivered at the international conference RI-Costruire Leonardo / RE-Build Leonardo, held in Naples from 3 to 5 April 2025 in the Aula Magna of the Department of Architecture at the University of Naples, within the splendid setting of the sixteenth-century Palazzo Gravina. The event offered an opportunity to reflect on the fragmentary nature of Leonardo’s writings, which, as in any research project on the Vincian corpus, necessitate direct engagement with gaps and, consequently, with the challenge of reconstructing missing elements.
