Abstract

The second issue of the journal deals with a variety of themes, from collecting (Arconati, Uzielli and Piumati) to the relationship with sources both in manuscript (Persian) and print (Valturio), to the presentation of historical photographic materials not previously catalogued (i.e., the glass plates of the Codex Atlanticus). The special attention given to the paper supports, as well as to the drawings and manuscripts, has been possible thanks to evidence provided by the scholarly documents published here for the first time.
