Il ruolo della rete sociale nell’acquisizione dell’articolo italiano in parlanti ucrainofone

The quality and quantity of the input to which a learner of an L2 is exposed are essential factors for the development, in the interlanguage, of complex traits such as the article. The sociolinguistics of immigration, which correlates acquisition variables with social aspects, postulates that the type of social network in which the learner is inserted determines his/her exposure to the input and, therefore, the results of the acquisition. Assuming this theoretical perspective, in this article we analyse the production of the article in the speech of 12 Ukrainian-speaking spontaneous learners of L2 Italian.
