Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The submission file is in an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • To ensure the integrity of blind peer-review for publication proposals, it is necessary that:
    1. Authors have deleted their names from the text of the file, using various strings (in the bibliography and
notes) instead of the author's name, article title, etc.
    2. In Microsoft Office documents, identification elements in the file properties are removed.

Author Guidelines

Privacy policy

The collection of personal data relating to registered and non-registered users of the journal is limited to the standard operating purposes of all peer-reviewed scientific journals. Therefore, only information is collected that is indispensable for the procedures of evaluation and publication of contributions; to inform readers about authorship and editorial processing of content; to outline in aggregate and anonymous form readers' preferences for articles, as well as their national and geographical origin. They are therefore used exclusively for scientific communication purposes.
The editors only use the data to manage the workflow and to improve the quality of the journal. The data may be partly shared with the developers of OJS/PKP, always in an anonymous and aggregate form, with the sole exception of the metrics of publication, consultation and download of contributions. The data will never be used for commercial purposes or for purposes other than those indicated here, neither by the journal, nor by the publisher, nor by PKP.
Authors publishing in the journal are responsible for the data they report on persons mentioned in their scientific contributions.
The management of the magazine complies with data protection standards, including the provisions of the European Union's GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regarding 'data owner rights', which include: (a) breach notification; (b) right of access; (c) right to be forgotten; and (d) data portability; (e) privacy by design. The GDPR recognizes the 'public interest in the availability of data', which is of particular relevance to all those who are committed to ensuring, with as much integrity as possible, the public visibility of the products of scientific research.
