Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The submission file is in an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.

To ensure the integrity of blind peer-review for publication proposals, it is necessary that:
1. Authors have deleted their names from the text of the file, using various strings (in the bibliography and
notes) instead of the author's name, article title, etc.
2. In Microsoft Office documents, identification elements in the file properties are removed.
Full paper
The section hosts scholarly essays-without limitations related to geographic, cultural and chronological scopes. The length of contributions (in Italian or English) should meet the following criteria: 50,000-100,000 characters including spaces and 10-15 images.
Discoveries
The section hosts reports on excavation and study activities. The length of contributions (in Italian or English) should meet the following criteria: 10,000-20,000 characters including spaces and 5 images.
Review
The section hosts reflections on important publishing news. The length of contributions (in Italian or English) should meet the following criteria: 5,000-10,0000 characters including spaces.

Contiene articoli con un più deciso taglio scientifico con contributi tematici ad ampio raggio non necessariamente legati alle nostre attività di scavo.
Proceedings of the meeting Frigento (AV) September 30 - October 1, 2022
This section collects the opening contributions of the event “Researchers' Night in Irpinia” held in Frigento and Carife (AV). The initiative was part of the project S.T.R.E.T.S. - Science, Technology and Research for Ethical Engagement Translated in Society funded by the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and funds from the Horizon Europe program.
