Some notes on the value of solidarity as a constitutional principle

The essay analyzes the value of solidarity as a founding principle of the republican Constitution. Little investigated or at least to a largely unsystematic extent by jurists, the affirmation of the value of solidarity is the real challenge that governments will have to face in the future, which will have to work to ensure that this value does not unfold solely as solidarity between counterparts, between equal subjects, but it acquires an increasingly «inclusive» tendency, particularly addressing those who are unequal and different
