Abstract

D’Agostini, in her book Analitici e Continentali, suggested that philosophers of religion have an important role in the contemporary philosophical scenario, but then she does not study this theme in depth. In the last two decades analytic philosophy has had a religious turn that I propose to consider in its meta-philosophical senses. In particular, I will take into consideration the overcoming of foundationalism, the attention for the history of ideas, the reasonableness of beliefs, the epistemological and ontological realism. In the conclusion I will indicate how these meta-philosophical suggestions are able to arouse a third pole between analitici and continentali not only in the field of philosophy of religion.
