The article examines the impact of artificial intelligence on the world of work and initial vocational training. Considering some important data emerging from Italian and European research, as well as recent pedagogical literature on media education and IA literacy, the article highlights some of the challenges that could arise for the Italian vocational education and training system in terms of educational success, active citizenship education, and integration into the world of work.
