Abstract

The article delves into the reasons behind incorporating ai into the curriculum of universities in spain and mexico and proposes potential changes to ai that could impact teaching methods and performance outcomes in these institutions today more than ever before there is a growing trend of academic institutions embracing ai technology understanding the influence of these advancements in technology is crucial, for understanding how they are reshaping students’ learning experiences and academic achievements the study utilizes a combination of research methods to compare students views and competence in technology between mexican universities when it comes to incorporating ai into education systems. Compared to mexican students, spanish students appreciate the opportunities and have higher digital skills. these differences underline the different levels to which ai programmes are supported in both countries. the results were enriched by data collected from interviews and focus groups that revealed the mexican students' keen interest in immersive and interactive learning experiences with ai technology integrated within the educational system, in mexico.
