The activities of the Conference – to be held in Naples from 22 to 24 February 2017, which seeks to reconstruct moments and figures of the Cartesian readings in Naples from Cornelius to Porzio, from Caloprese to Gravina and Vico – is inscribed in the context of the Award "Giambattista Vico" 2017, promoted by the Interuniversity Consortium "Civilizations of the Mediterranean" in agreement with the Department of Humanities of the University of Naples Federico II and with Vico's Section of the Institute CNR in Naples.
