Author Biography

Haude Morvan, Université Bordeaux Montaigne, Institut Ausonius

Haude Morvan is a former member of the École française de Rome and has been Associate Professor of Medieval Art History at the Université Bordeaux Montaigne since 2016. Her research focuses on the mendicant orders, funerary art in the late Middle Ages, depictions of funerals in medieval art, the interior arrangement of churches from the Middle Ages to the early modern period (choir stalls, rood screens, etc.), the reforms of the Observant movement, and the reception of medieval art from the 17th to the 19th century.
