Author Biographies

Teresa Lussone, Aldo Moro University of Bari

Teresa Manuela Lussone is a researcher in French language and translation at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). Specialist in the posthumous works of Irène Némirovsky, she has edited, with Olivier Philipponnat, the new edition of Suite française (Denoël, 2020) and Feux de l’automne (Albin Michel, 2014). With Laura Frausin Guarino she translated Tempête en juin, the first part of Suite française (Adelphi, 2022). She has written several articles on Sartre’s autobiography and she is currently preparing the edition of two works by Sophie Cottin for Classiques Garnier.

Valentina Sturli, “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara

Valentina Sturli is a senior researcher in Comparative Literature at the Department of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti Pescara. She has written essays on thematic criticism, contemporary Italian and French literature, horror cinema and TV series. Shehas to his credit the monographs Figure dell’invenzione (Quodlibet 2020), Estremi Occidenti (Mimesis 2020), a critical edition of Tozzi's Bestie (2022), and has an essay in preparation for Carocci on the subject of the intellectual degrading himself for love.
