Author Biography

Marco Capponi, Università Iuav di Venezia

Marco Capponi (Macerata, 1987), architect and PhD in History of Architecture, is adjunct professor and research fellow at the Iuav University of Venice within the PRIN project “BATH: Being Architects, Teaching History. The Italian contribution to a new History of Architecture: Zevi, Bruschi and Tafuri”. His research interests focus on 16th- and 17th-century Theatine architecture, with particular attention to the graphic production of members of the Order, and on the relationship between the teaching and the scientific activities of Manfredo Tafuri, also making use of Oral History and its methodologies. He won the “Benedetto Gravagnuolo” (2014) and “Alvise Trincanato” (2022) prizes
