Abstract

This article offers a description of manuscript Urb. Lat. 1187, which contains the Alfonsi regis dicta aut facta memoratu digna by Panormita. The manuscript is a copy of Urb. Lat. 1185, transcribed by Pietro Ursuleo in Naples between 1455 and 1474 for Count Federico da Montefeltro. This circumstance suggests that it was produced within the cultural milieu of Urbino. On the first folio there was once a coat of arms, now illegible, as it has been obscured by red ink and by the stamp of the Vatican Apostolic Library.
